Syntax
/jump- Teleports the user atop the block(s) they are looking at.
Usage
Using /jump teleports the user to the block they are looking at, from up to 300 blocks away, as long as the command deems the target location permissible and safe. If the target location is outside the Allowed Locations (see infobox), the command fails with the message "Sorry, you cannot jump to that location." If the target location is the void, the command fails with the message "Error: Hole in floor!"[4]
If the target location is an "unsafe" block or lacks a 2 "ignored" blocks above it (see below), /jump will adjust the final location of the user according to...
WIP
- Notable jumpable: (places above:) signs, open trapdoors, waterlogged blocks, powder snow, bubble columns, slabs, pressure plates, scaffolding, dripleaf, non-collidable bamboo, lichen, (places inside:) fences, (places below:) lily pads
- Notable non-jumpable: magma blocks, lava (flowing or not), plain water (flowing or not), berry bushes (grown or not), campfires (lit or not), cacti. (Becomes jumpable if using /god; 2/8/2025)
- Notable transparent: entity "blocks" (item frame), flowers (any height), vines, most redstone emitting or transmitting components except pressure plates, string, carpet (has collision!), crops
- is it willing to pass island bounds?)
- Different behaviour when flying
- Jumps to:
- The target block
- A block in the 7x7 centered on the target (subpriority untested).
- A block within a 48 block offset of the target in the x OR z axes (prioritizes closer x OR zs; subpriority between equal x and z, and for +/-, unknown). Can apparently be any y level.
