Skyblock began as a collection of four survival maps posted on minecraftforum by Noobcrew on September 4th, 2011.

On September 13th 2012, Noobcrew set up Xenforo on the https://skyblock.net site to coincide with the multiplayer server on the same world.[1]

A 3x3 block of dirt with a single sand and a single bedrock with no secondary island.
